Ayush Scholarship Scheme :
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, through its Ayush Department, offers a scholarship for students willing to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD courses in the fields of Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy. While promoting the ancient medicinal arts that originated in India, the Ministry allows students to select their own courses and the university they wish to pursue their course in, but requires them to prepare the relevant documents for the same. Six copies of the given application form are required to be submitted, and any documents that are not in English require a certified translation to be submitted as well. ICCR Scholarships in the Fields of Art and Dance :
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations offers a scholarship to international students wishing to learn Indian music and dance under cultural masters in India. An opportunity to learn under teachers who have gained international recognition and acclaim for their work, this scholarship also offers students an opportunity to explore Indian civilisation and the creativity that is its spiritual sustenance through an artistic medium. Five sets of application forms, including English translations of documents, are required to be submitted to the Embassy. Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme 2024-25:
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) is pleased to announce scholarship slots under Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme (A1201) at Indian Universities/Institutes for the academic year 2024-25. SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMMES FOR DISAPORA CHILDREN:
The Scholarship Programme for Diaspora Children (SPDC) was introduced in the Academic Year 2006-07 for the children of Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) and those of Non-resident Indians to enable them to pursue Undergraduate courses in Indian Universities/Institutions and promote India as a centre of higher studies.
Under SPDC Scheme, financial assistance of upto US$ 4000 towards tuition fee, admission fee and post admission services is provided for Undergraduate courses in professional and non-professional courses. SPDC can be availed by children of Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) from all over the world and Children of Indian workers in ECR countries.
