Attestation of Sponsorship Letter for the Visit of a Person from India to Lithuania

Overview:

This service is provided to Indian passport holders who wish to sponsor a person from India for a visit to Lithuania and require attestation of the sponsorship letter.

Documents Required:

    1. Miscellaneous Application Form duly filled in and signed by the applicant.
    2. Two Photographs (2”x2”).
    3. Duly filled and signed Sponsorship Form.
    4. Valid passport in original and self-attested copies of the first two and last two pages of the passport and the page(s) containing passport officer’s observations (if any).
    5. Copy of the passport page/Lithuanian Residence Permit Card showing the visa status should be enclosed.
    6. Proof of employment/income or ownership of property/business/accommodation and a self-attested copy of a utility bill (landline telephone bill/electricity bill/gas bill/water bill) or Driving License where the applicant’s Lithuanian address is mentioned.
    7. Copies of passport pages containing personal particulars of the person(s) whom the applicant wishes to sponsor.
    8. Fees: Attestation of sponsorship letter: Euro 19 + Euro 2 (ICWF)

 

Please make separate payments for Consular Fees and Consular Surcharge/ICWF using the following bank details and provide two separate receipts; one for Consular Fees and another for Consular Surcharge/ICWF.

i. Processing Time:
- Applied in person, the same day.
- Applied by post, minimum 3 to 5 working days (excluding the date of submission of the application and date of dispatch of original and processed documents), subject to the application being complete in all respects.

Please Note:
- Original documents provided will have to be submitted along with the photocopies; the same shall be returned to the applicants once the process is over.
- The above are mandatory requirements. The applicant may be advised to submit some more documents after scrutiny of the application and documents by the Embassy, on a case-to-case basis. If there is more than one document that needs to be attested, the fee should be paid accordingly. Fees once tendered are non–refundable.
