General Information Regarding Passport Services

PUBLIC NOTICE
Applications for passport related services should be submitted in person at the Embassy of India, Vilnius. The Embassy of India accept applications for passport at its premises through appointments. These are available for both non-tatkaal and tatkaal services. For non-tatkaal services, and ‘Tatkaal’ services fees are payable to Embassy account in Swedbank (IBAN No. LT67 7300 0101 7875 7046.). The appointments can be booked at: www.eoivilnius.gov.in, by clicking on the tab: Online appointment System for Consular Services, or www.eoivilnius.gov.in/appointmenthome.

In exceptional and dire emergencies, we make efforts to provide services even outside normal working hours. An Additional fee is payable for such emergency services. In case of an emergency during public holidays or beyond working hours, we can be reached at +370 633 73087. This is a number meant for emergencies; so please use it with discretion.

Kindly note that all fee is payable by bank transfer at the Embassy account at Swedbank. Facility for payment by credit card is not available (but we are making efforts to introduce such a facility in the near future). Please look at the fee table for various services and pay for the service you require.

Facilities for taking instant photographs, photocopying are not available on payment basis at the Embassy of India, Vilnius premises.

Eligibility Criteria for Passport Related Services (Who can Avail)
Indian Nationals/Expatriates who are working or residing in Lithuania with valid residential status (Permanent Resident, Employment pass, Work Permit holder, long term visit pass holders and Visitors whose passport is damaged, expired or lost) are eligible to obtain Passport-related Services, at the Embassy of India, Vilnius, Applicants on short-term visit status in Lithuania not eligible for passport at the Embassy.
Issue of travel documents (Passport and Emergency Certificate) in lieu of Lost/Damaged Passports of visitors. In such cases, please apply for an appointment directly at the Embassy.
